Are your surgeons Board Certified in plastic and reconstructive surgery?
- The Surgeons at Star Plastic Surgery have completed their training in general surgery and an additional residency or fellowship in Plastic/Reconstructive Surgery. They are Board Certified or Board Eligible in plastic and reconstructive surgery.
- Many “Cosmetic Surgeons” are physicians from other specialties and may have taken only a weekend course in “cosmetic procedures”. They are not Board Certified in plastic or reconstructive surgery and seldom have cosmetic surgical privileges at any hospital. They are not eligible for certification by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons or the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
- Our doctors have surgical privileges at the area’s finest hospitals and have successfully performed all of the procedures that you may select.

- Virtually all surgeries are performed in the areas leading hospitals or accredited surgical centers to assure your safety and comfort.
How much will my surgery cost?
- Each patient fee is based upon you, individually.
- No two patients are alike, not even twins.
- The education, skill and ability of your surgeon should be of utmost importance to you when considering cosmetic surgery.
- Cost and financing will be discussed at your free confidential initial consultation.
What is the charge for a consultation?

Star Plastic Surgery offers FREE consultations. At this free and confidential consultation, you will be asked to fill out a form that will help us learn the important aspects of your medical history including allergies, medications, previous surgical procedures or unusual responses to anesthesia, factors that may affect successful surgical outcomes like smoking, alcohol, or drug related problems. We will discuss the procedures you are interested in, your surgical goals, and review before and after photos.
- You will know the cost of your procedures. We accept cash, checks, or credit cards for payment, or you may complete an application to finance your surgery. There are many options available including no-down payment, no-interest plans.
I live a long way from your office, does that matter?
- Most of our patients come from Oakland, Wayne, Macomb, Monroe, Washtenaw and Livingston Counties, as well as Canada. Patients come from all over the world to have their surgeries performed by our surgeons.
